Train Up A Child

"I have no greater joy than this, to hear of my children walking in truth." 3 John 4

Today as Kiara and Kayla, our 6 year old twins, we upstairs playing with their Little Fisher Price people, Joshua was studying on the couch and I was cooking in the kitchen and he says to me, "Mom! Come here! Quick..you have to listen to this!" I came over and leaned against the staircase to hear these wonderful, sweet little girls role playing an open air or one to one witnessing encounter with their Little People toys...here's part of the encounter...

Kayla--"And the 8th commandment says You shall not steal and the 9th is Do not lie! and the 10th is not to want the things that belong to other people..."

Kiara-- "Actually it is, You shall not covet!"

Joshua heard the entire thing and he said they started from the first commandment!

Oh how wonderful to know that our children are learning at such a young age how to share the biblical gospel. They know that it is the perfect law that brings a knowledge of sin and that leads to repentance.

They are never too young...so..go share your faith while you still have time..and teach it to your children!

Here's a picture of Kayla open air preaching in Northampton, MA when she was 5 yrs old. By memory she went through the 10 Commandments and boldly declared Jesus to the people walking by.
