This is from Steve's EXCELLENT CD called Abandoned to God.
I HIGHLY recommend this CD. Excellent!
My favorite songs from that CD are Cornerstone and The Mark of a Man of God.
Powerful lyrics in both songs.
In fact, I played Cornerstone when I taught a Sunday School class on the Roman Catholic Church. I posted the mp3 on my website. You can download it at: http://www.sohmer.net/media/Cornerstone.mp3.
Oh, and Steve Camp is quite the preacher too! He preached a sermon at my former church when I lived in Massachusetts. GREAT sermon! It was delivered a few weeks after September 11, 2001, and that is evident in what he has to say.
I HIGHLY recommend that sermon: http://www.sohmer.net/media/camp_sermon.wma.
Thanks for posting this Donna. I really enjoy Steve Camp's music and ministry.
I used to have all his cassette tapes! Tells you how long ago that was! haha! He's definitely a dynamic preacher as well as musician..I have linked to his blog site as well as his audience One site..highly recommend his ministry!
Cassette tapes?
I think I read about those once. ;)
Seriously, when I was in college, I had a part-time job at a store in the mall called "Tape World." Not a very good name for a store that wants any longevity. The same company that owned "Tape World" also owned "Record Town" so they clearly weren't thinking long-term about how people would buy music.
hahaha! That's too funny Mark!
I having been looking for the lyrics to Steve Camp's "Cornerstone" for some time. I love that song, but I cannot understand everything he sings. I would really love to know all the lyrics.
